#StartupParadise Demo Day 2015

#StartupParadise had it's first Demo Day of 2015 hosted by Blue Startups in partnership with Energy Excelerator and XLR8UH was a success. There were a total of 10 Startups participating in the event. 5 from Blue Startups, 2 from XLR8UH and 3 from Energy Excelerator all in different phases of thei business and funding. A lot of events we attend locally and nationally forget that aside from a great idea or great speech, great visuals are also a crucial factor of the overall experience and ambiance of the event. What we do is elevate the professionalism and create a cohesive branded look and feel from the presentations, to the transitions, and even to music so that the attendees feel that the event was well planned out and executed.

Scope:

The event was held at the UH Cancer Center in Kakaako and the Audio and Visual setup was great. There were a few modificaitons that could have been better, but overall a great venue to present and pitch in. This was not our first time helping this group, but was our first time running this particualar event and it went off without a glitch. This was the first time there was standing room only and shows that the startup community is health and growing locally in Hawaii.

We are truely excited and greatful for the opportunity to help and be a part of the local startup community and watch it grow from inception a few years ago! Can't wait for the next one! - EP
